Today's challenge is riiiight up my street - my 5 favourite foods!! :)
I just cannot get enough! I have eaten it since I was about 6 years old as my parents used to get Indian takeaways on a Friday night and would let me get up and have some!
My favourite dishes include: Chicken tikka madras, Pilau rice, Onion bhaji, peshwari naan, tandoori chicken, chicken chat, rogan josh & lamb jalfrezi! YUM!
Jon & I go most weekends to a lovely Indian buffet near where live - infact we're heading there tomorrow, yippee! :)
mmmmm I just don't think you can beat really good, tender, tasty, sticky ribs! I'm not much of a meat eater in general but I absolutely love ribs! Especially from places like TGI Fridays - amazing!!!
I'm not a big fan of Chinese food in general, it would always be my last choice of restaurant or takeaway - but if I have it, I HAVE to have crispy duck pancakes!
I LOVE the crispiness of the crispy duck with the soft flour pancakes, a little spring onion, a little cucumber and lashings of hoi sin sauce - PERFECT! :)
I could actually live off just rice by itself. I love all kinds of rice - to be honest fried rice is my least favourite kind, but I LOVE boiled rice, pilau rice, spicy rice, vegetable rice - I love just eating the Uncle Bens microwave rice straight out of the packet.
And my favourite thing to order from a Chinese is just boiled rice with curry sauce - yum!
I could happily eat a big plate full of just boiled rice on its own. I love the stuff!
I love all Italian foods (I'm stuffed from lasagne right now!) but Spaghetti bolognese is my all time favourite - especially my Mums! I don't make it with real mince though, my family has always made it with Quorn (veggie) mince and I love it this way as you don't have to worry about the gristly bits!
I don't like too much sauce either, it has to be quite dry, lots of spaghetti and it has to be all mixed in together like in the picture above - YUM!
