Hello Lovelies!
Today I decided to share with you a face of the day post, as its been a while since I've done one and I had some new products to play around with! :)

First up, my first go at using an ELF eyeshadow product!

I picked up this mineral eyeshadow set on my recent trip to TK Maxx and was keen to try it out!
I used the olive green across my lids, and then used the brown to contour - I thought the colours complemented each other very well and found the brush really lovely to work with!

I then used my Collection 2000 Gel eyeliner in Black along my upper lash line, my Barry M Super soft eye crayon in Black on my lower lash line, and Avon Super Extend Mascara in Black.
I finished off with my HD Brows palette to fill in my brows.

For my lips I used Benefit's Silky Finish lipstick in 'Ruby Vibes'

I found this lovely to apply, and the colour lasted for at least an hour without needing to be touched up which I thought was quite good going really. The browny colour worked well with this eye look.

For the rest of my face, I used: Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse, MAC Studio Finish concealer, and Benefit Coralista blush.

Thanks for reading! :)

  1. You look great! And your hair is flawless :)

  2. I love the olive shade, I have a bit of an obsession with that colour at the mo! Looks great on you xxx

    1. Its lovely isn't it, might be a new fave! :)
      Aww thanks hun :)

  3. That eye shadow looks amazing!
    Hannah x

  4. This look is lovely, especially loving the Benefit lipstick :)

  5. i never even knew you could get make up in tk max must check it out
    is it cheap

    1. Yep! Its with the soaps and lotions & potions.
Some of it is very cheap and some you can get cheaper online so you have to be savvy with it, but they also have a clearance section where I've found some right bargains! :)

  6. Wow that eye shadow is so pretty. That lippy is nice too, I wish I could wear more reds but some of them look weird on me.

Can I ask what nail polish you are wearing I your pics hun? X :-)

    1. Thanks hun! :) I have the same problem with reds. I think its to do with being pale.
Despite the name this is more of a burgundy/brown shade, and its much more managable!

The nail polish is Nails Inc Eden Grove from this post:

This is after a couple of days wear and tear though! :)

    2. Yes you are right hun, us pale English roses have trouble with our reds but this one is a good one.

Oh I had a feeling it might be, I really like Nails Inception but I never pay full price for them. I'll have to keep my eyes peeled in TK Maxx & keep my fingers crossed x :-)
