Beauty Wednesdays: Nourish Skin Care Range

A few weeks back, I was sent a couple of products to try out from the lovely people at Nourish Skincare.

So, who are Nourish?!

This is what they state on their website:

"Nourish uses advanced ingredients to nurture the skin that nature gave you.
By understanding the science behind the behaviour of different skin types, and by taking account of individual lifestyles and needs, the Nourish system offers an adaptable skincare solution delivering specific nutrients to effectively support and enhance your skin's health."

I must admit, I was completely unfamiliar with this brand prior to trying their products.

Nourish offer a range of products which they advise you to choose either according to your skin type or based on your day-to-day skin needs. For example, they have a number of peptide serums available - a Balancing serum for Shiny skin days, a Radiance serum for dull skin days, a Relaxing serum for Irritated skin days and Protecting serum for when you're feeling a little under the weather and your skin is in need of some TLC.

I was sent one of their fabulous Mini Kits to try, along with some Argan Skin Oil.

The Mini Kit I received was the "Protect" Kit - which includes:

50ml Protect Refreshing Cleanser - Special blend of gentle emollients and Citrus Extract to protect and moisturise skin. Recommended for dry skin.
How To Use: Apply a small amount of the cleaner to cotton wool and distribute over the face, before rinsing off with cool water and patting dry.

50ml Protect Cooling Toning Mist - Balances skin pH, closes the pores, prepares skin for nourishment and refreshes the skin.
How To Use: Spray evenly over the face after moisturing.

15ml Protect Hydrating Moisturiser - With Organic Rosehip Oil, Organic Sunflower Oil, Organic Orange and Mandarin Oils, this wonderful cream is a fortified signature blend of rich antioxidants that helps naturally to protect your skin.
How To Use: Apply a small amount to the skin using fingers, and blend in circular motions.

15ml Protect Replenishing Peptide Serum - An ultra-intensive blend to lock in moisture and guard against dryness. With peptides to firm and smoothen the skin, combatting fine lines.

How To Use: Apply a small amount to the skin, and blend in circular motions until absorbed.

So...what did I think?!

Although I have to admit that I didn't feel that the cleanser offered a particularly deep cleanse, I really enjoyed the toning mist, moisturiser and serum.

The mist in particular was a favourite as it is SO easy to use - most toners I have used have needed to be applied to cotton wool and rubbed over my skin, but the fact that this was as easy as a quick spritz really appealed to me!

The moisturiser and serum certainly seem to work very well, as I used these products over an hour ago and my skin feels pleasantly moist and cared for.

The size of the bottles make it an ideal travel kit, which is what I will be using it for - they are very light and not at all bulky, so perfect really! And a little of the products goes a long way, so I am sure they would last for a fair while.

The scent of the products was particularly appealing, it reminded me of lemon which instantly makes me think of cleanliness and health!

Also the packaging itself was lovely, the design was very fresh and appealing and when the products arrived they were wrapped in some lovely yellow tissue paper which I thought was a nice touch!

The Mini Kit's are available from the Nourish website here, and cost £24.95.

Have you tried any products from Nourish? I'd love to hear thoughts!
