Dressing The Bump...Baby!!!
Those of you who have been following me for a while will be familiar with my regular weekly Dressing The Bump posts - again, now that I am no longer pregnant I won't be continuing with these posts (as instead I will be battling to get out of my once-loved maternity clothes and back into my normal clothes again!).
Instead, I will be bringing you regular weekly Dressing The Baby posts! After all, what is cuter than teeny weeny little baby outfits?!!!
Here are a few of my favourite outfits that Tyne has been wearing over the last Two weeks:
Born In 2013 romper suit - £7.00 - Next
I LOVE clothes and so dressing up my baby son is one of my new favourite pastimes! He really is like a little dolly (albeit one that hates getting undressed and screams the house down for the duration of the task!)
Easter Sunday outfit:
Anchor vest - £4.99 - H & M
Cargo shorts (Extremely long on Tyny!) - £5.00 - George @ Asda
Teddy Bear Booties - £1.00! - Marks & Spencer
Before Tyne was born, I had arranged out all of his Newborn clothes ready for him to wear - I went a bit mad with baby clothes shopping during the pregnancy, so he has a whole big box of 0-3 months outfits, a reasonable sized box of 3-6 month outfits, and even a few 6-9 months and 9-12 months outfits set aside!
Easter Monday Outfit:
Tyne - Sailor Romper Suit - £19.99 - Tutto Picollo
Me - Sailor style maxi dress - £15.00 - New Look
But I was hoping he would be small enough to fit into his Newborn clothes for a week or two at first, so I didn't get any of his 0-3 month clothes out....however, once Tyne arrived and we discovered how tiny he was - I soon realised that his Newborn clothes were FAR too big for him!!
So they have joined his 0-3 month outfits in the box, and instead we had to go out and buy him some Tiny Baby outfits (along with some Premature baby nappies!)
I have tried not to go too mad with the Tiny Baby outfits, as I know he won't be in them for very long, but now he is 2 weeks old and he still isn't showing any sign of outgrowing them so I think it will be another couple of weeks before he's in his Newborn clothes!
Gorgeous Bunny Outfit with matching Bunny Toy - Part of Tyne's Easter Gift from Nanny!
I love the details on this little suit - the little luggage tag that reads "I'll be here when you get back...." and the little story book which opens up and has writing inside...
I also love the little floppy bunny ears hat, it was perfect for Easter!
The monkey design on the romper is also super cute!
Tyne was very comfortable and warm in this little outfit, and its definitely been my favourite one of his little outfits so far!
Bunny hat & romper suit - Mamas & Papas - £18.00
Don't forget to join me next Saturday for another Dressing The Baby post!
