Sparkles & Stretchmarks: A UK Parenting & Pregnancy Blog: - New Beauty Blogger On The Block!

Tuesday, 9 July 2013 - New Beauty Blogger On The Block!

One of the things that I love the most about blogging is the chance to meet and get to know other bloggers...

I have made some lovely friends though blogging who I otherwise would never have had the opportunity to meet, and for me - as much as I love practising my writing skills and being able to share my thoughts and opinions on things with the world - this has been the absolute best part of blogging to me.

And so for this reason, I am always keen to look out for new blogs and get to know new bloggers...

One such blogger I have recently discovered is one of my sponsors this month, she is just starting out as a blogger and is so very excited about her journey into the wonderful world of Beauty Blogging!
I remember myself how excited but nervous I was when I started my blog, I wanted to have fun with it but I worried that people wouldnt like or understand my writing style or wouldnt be interested in anything I had to say....

I'm sure each of you remembers how you felt when you first started out blogging if you are a blogger yourself!

So what's this new blog all about!?

Well it's called "We Make Up" which I think is a great, descriptive name - and I LOVE the look of it!
Layout is really important to me when finding blogs to follow, I like the style of the blog to get across what I should expect from its content and I like it to be clean and easy to read while still being pretty!

I'm sure you'll agree from the screenshot below, We Make Up manages to achieve all of this...

We Make Up is a beauty focused blog which will also feature a lifestyle element, and will include things such as product reviews and tutorials - already featured is a review of Lush stores, and some "Get To Know The Blogger" style posts.

The blog is written by E - a 22 year old media & cultural studies student with a passion for beauty & style, who says that she hopes her blog will eventually be able to encourage girls to be more confident with the way they look.

What a great thing to want to achieve!!

Some of the review posts that E intends to feature in the coming few weeks include:

1. Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream intensive moisturizing body treatment

2. Mac 187 Brush

3. Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer

4. 28 Random Facts About Me

5. Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation

6. Sleek Brow Kit

7. Soap and Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Extreme Plump  XL

8. Rimmel Stay Matte Powder

9. Tresemme Dry Shampoo Volumising

10. Mac 130 Brush

It's easy to tell from the posts already featured on We Make Up that E is a natural writer, and I have already signed up to the follow the blog myself - so I hope that you will all take a moment of your time to help out a new fellow blogger and go visit her site, and give her a follow! :)
