Christmas Countdown: Perfect Gifts For Little Boys....AND COMPETITION!

Each week, I'm going to be bringing you a gift guide showing some of the wonderful gifts available this year for all your relatives!

I am going to be trying and testing each and every thing I recommend, and only the items that I feel are worthy will be featured.

This week it's my suggestions of perfect gifts for Little Boys!

All of the items included can, of course, be suitable for little girls too!

1. Scooter

With realistic lights and sound effects, the toy Zinc Nitro light and sound Scooter will bring hours of fun.

No ordinary scooter, this Zinc scooter has both front and rear lights and even more awesome than that, it features real accelerating engine sounds and rear screeching brakes!

Can you imagine how impressed your little chap would be with that in his stocking this Christmas?!

Everything about the Zinc Nitro just looks COOL! I could hardly believe the price tag attached - just £29.99!!! Amazing value for a gift that any little boy would absolutely adore!

Available from ww.argos.co.uk

2. Star Wars Lego Nightlight and Keyrings

What male on this Earth doesn't love Star Wars?! Seriously I have never seen anybody so excited as my partner was when these goodies dropped through our letterbox earlier in the week - and he's 40 years old!!
The Star Wars Keylights are little figures attached to a keyring which are strong illuminate even the darkest of hidey holes with just one push of a button!

There are 8 characters available including Darth Vader, Yoda and R2D2.

The keylights are available from Asda, Amazon and Tesco for just £6.99 and make a perfect stocking filler for any little boy this Christmas!

Another fab item in the range is the Desk Lamps!

The Darth Vader lamp is a 19cm Darth Vader figure with an LED light sabre!

This is a gift that will not only impress the little boys this year, but the big kids too!

Available for just £29.99 from John Lewis and Argos.

3. Nerf N-Strike Elite RapidStrike Blaster

Who doesn't want a Nerf gun?!

My partner has been desperate to play with this ever since it arrived for me to take a look at but of course...we're grown ups, I didn't let him play with it.

But my sister & I had to road test it just to see how good it was for the purpose of this guide - it was purely business of course, no fun was had....

Oh who am I kidding!!! The Nerf Gun is ENDLESS fun for kids of ALL ages (fully grown ones included!) - it blasts at an IMPRESSIVE rate of 3.2 darts per second, making it the fastest elite blaster ever!

I defy any school age boy not to have hours of fun with this! This gift would send you straight to the top of the cool parents/aunts/uncles/grandparents list - guaranteed!!!

Available from www.hasbro.com for £39.99

4. U-Booly Pet

This super-cute furry friend is an iphone and ipod interactive pet - you simply download the app and connect the device to the pet, and his face comes to life as if by magic!
He responds to voice commands and interacts with the people around him - telling jokes, playing games and singing songs on demand!
But watch out - if you ignore for a while he'll fall asleep - and he's a snorer!!

This is a delightful gift that will provide hours of magical entertainment for any little boy or girl this Christmas, a sure talking point over your Christmas Dinner!!!

Compatible with the Iphone 3GS, 4 and 4S and the Ipod Touch 4G and 5 - the super cute U-Booly Pet is available from www.qvcuk.com for just £16.50!!

5. Mad Robotic Bugs

This set of 4 mad robotic bugs is perfect for little monsters this Christmas! They run and scurry about bumping into things, flipping over and scurrying on regardless!
They are fab stocking fillers if you're looking for something a little unusual!

Available from www.qvcuk.com for £11.00 for the set of 4.

6. Play-Doh Trash-Tossin Rowdy The Garbage Truck Playset

This super cute play-doh set allows kids to create their own rubbish bins, recyclable bottles and rubbish using the moulds provided. They can then put the rubbish into the bin and Rowdy will use his movable lift to empty into his truck. Then as he is pushed along, he tosses the trash out the back of the truck!

A great stocking filler for any child, and a fun way to encourage a discussion on recycling too - a great gift idea!!!

Available from www.hasbro.com for £19.99

7. Roadwork Center

How cool is this roadwork center from Janod?!

The high quality wooden toy set comes with a digger, bulldozer and dump truck as well as two barricades and two little traffic cones  - perfect for really getting their imaginations going during playtime!

The garage has a working crane, elevator and ramp. Its suitable for children aged 3+ and complies with European safety standards.

This wonderful toy is available from www.borngifted.co.uk for £49.99
