Dancing Fun On Viral Videos!

The Ellen Show is one of the best places on American TV where children are given the chance to show case their talent without the pressure of competition and us across the pond get the pleasure of viewing little titbits on YouTube.

Supportive and entertaining, Ellen seems to find the nation’s most talented tots through viral videos that have made their way around the web.

The children are often invited to the studio to show off their talents in front of an audience, giving them a great opportunity to show the nation what they’re made of.

Some of my favourite videos are of gifted children – they really lighten my day!

 Choreography genius!

This very talented two year-old is dancing with her professional dancer mother and absolutely nailing it! Sassy and fierce, she’s sure to follow in her mother’s footsteps one day.

All the toddlers in this video are trying their very hardest but one tot in particular is really giving her own interpretation to the dance, while still nailing most of the moves and also finding time to make a funny face in front of her co-dancer – like a true professional! She’s very clearly a natural performer and I do believe that most of the eyes were on her that night.

 Gangnam style!

Gangnam Style took the world by storm and lots of versions have popped up online, but this performance in Belgium is by far the best! Clearly a good dancer, he’s learnt the routine completely and dances it very well!

 Queen B

BeyoncĂ©’s Single Ladies dance routine was huge when it first came out and this performance by an eight year-old is just as fierce as Queen B herself! She’s on her way to becoming a pro, if not already.

 Starr skating pro!

Starr is an amazing skater combining dance with skating which is no easy feat! You can see by her performance and her professional clothing that she takes it very seriously and that really pays off. I bet that the parents of these children are incredibly proud – I know I would be!

I hope that my children one day chose to commit to something like this, and there is no reason they can’t start young, a fact also reiterated by Strictly Come Dancing's Camilla Dallerup who started at the tender age of two and a half years!

  1. Aww this is so cute :D Stacey has been dancing since she was 4 (so 6 years in total) and has really improved this past couple of years. As her last set of exam results proved! Sorry - proud mummy moment there, hehe. She also like to do the Gangnam Style dance with Oscar but changes the words to "Heeeey, sexy Oscar" lol.
