Sphero 2.0: Review

So....this looks like a ball, yes?

Pretty standard.

My nieces thought so too when they recently came to visit, and the ball was sitting in the middle of the living room.

Until it started to move by itself.

I asked my eldest niece to try and move the ball with her mind.

She concentrated hard.

And then....lo and behold...it moved!

She was amazed of course. Little did she know I was controlling it from an app on my Galaxy tab!

You see....this is no ordinary ball....this is Sphero 2.0

The world's first app-controlled robotic ball!

Take a look at my little video showing the Sphero 2.0 in action.

Of course, an app controlled ball that shoots around the room, changes colour and even dances is cool enough!

But there are SO many things you can do with the Sphero (Aside from convince small children that they have the power to move things with their minds, of course....)

There are more than 25 compatible apps to choose from with Sphero which include multi-player games, arcade style games and much more.

The Sphero is water proof, pet proof and...I can confirm....baby proof! Tyne has dropped it a good few times and it is completely unharmed!

It keeps pretty much anybody well entertained for hours....Tyne loves crawling around to chase it, and Jon spends so much time driving it around the living room!!!

It really is such a clever little gift idea, and I was amazed to learn that it costs less than £100!
