Our Christmas Bucket List (Plus a Chance to Win £100 at Whittards)

I am sure I may be in the minority, but I love this time of year. Autumn and Winter may bring cold and wet weather, but they also bring about so many things that I love.

Halloween, Bonfire Night, Christmas, I love them all and purposely do my best to ensure that our family will have fun, making some great memories of our Autumn and Winter times together. The weather may be cold and grim, but there's always a lovely warmth in our home regardless.

Yes there's the chaos and roller coaster ride that can be Christmas looming in the  not-to-distant-future but I have to be honest...I quite enjoy the hustle bustle of it all, the planning, the gift buying and wrapping, browsing Christmas decorations, looking at the festive shop window displays...it's so exciting!

Another thing I love about Autumn and Winter is the arrival of the themed coffees in the high street stores...Gingerbread and Pumpkin Spice Lattes galore, I simply cannot get enough of them!

Speaking of warming winter drinks, the lovely folks at Voucherbox have a great competition going where you could win a £100 voucher to spend at Whittard...just think of all the yummy flavoured coffee and top quality hot chocolate that could buy you! - there are 3 chances to win too, so it's well worth a go and all you have to do is comment on their competition page, it couldn't be simpler! Entries close at midnight on 17th November so be sure to enter now!

With the Christmas season in mind, I have put together a November & December bucket list of things I want to do this season - I'd love to hear some of your suggestions too!

  1. I too, am a lover of this time of year. I really love Xmas, especially the few weeks before the big day. The build up and anticipation is so exciting. I'm a big kid at heart. My daughter is only two so she doesn't really understand Xmas at the moment, but next year she will so I'm really looking forward to that. And I will be able to tick off a few more of the things in your bucket list with her next year too. X

  2. I'm such a huge Christmas fan and I love a bucket list! We do an advent calendar of activities, so will definitely have some of these on there - we're definitely making gingerbread cookies, and taking the steam train to visit Santa. We also always watch A Muppets Christmas Carol on Christmas Eve, it's a must! I also want to make a few handmade Christmas cards with Max to give to grandparents - weighing up different designs at the moment! THanks for joining us at #SharingtheBlogLove
