As part of Thorntons ‘Pass The Love On’
campaign, the team at Thorntons has given me the task of finding a way to ‘Pass The
Love On’ to my loved ones this festive season.

Of course the simple option would have been to gift a box of Thorntons Continental to my children or my other half but I wanted to think about who in my life could do with a lift and a little thank you – and I decided on my sister, Laura.

Laura is, like myself, a very busy mum to 3 children and also runs her own business from home much like I do (although hers is a child minding business) so I know first hand that this time of year can be very busy and stressful and that she was likely to be running around worrying about making the festive season lovely for everybody else without taking the time to factor in a bit of self-care or treating herself.

So when, on a Christmas night out this week, Laura kindly offered to be the designated driver and drive me back home even though it was way out of her way – I saw the perfect chance to surprise her with a box of chocolates!

Laura is probably the biggest sweet tooth I know and I can’t think of anything she’d love more than a box of chocolate all to herself, so she was absolutely delighted with her little treat!

    Christmas is a
time to ’Pass The Love On’ to friends and family, and, for this reason,
Thorntons is  proud to be working with SSAFA, the charity that supports our servicemen and
servicewomen, veterans and their families.

Infact they’ve even run a truly heartwarming #ContinentalJourneys competition on social media recently, which aims to re-unite a family seperated during the festive period. Keep an eye on my social media channels over the coming says as I’m so looking forward to sharing the winners video!

A donation of sales of all products in the
Thorntons Continental selection range will go directly to SSAFA, so not only will a Thorntons gift be greatly appreciated by its lucky recipient this Christmas but you’ll be doing your bit for a great cause too.
