How To Improve Your Self Esteem - Join My Summer Of (Self) Love Challenge!

It's been over a year now since I started to work on accepting my body as it is and learning to love myself exactly as I am, with no conditions.

That year has brought me more happiness than I could ever have imagined.

Who ever would have thought that something as simple as learning to accept yourself would result in so many positive life changes, but it has!

Not only do I feel happier and less anxious now, but I have more friendships, my relationship has improved, I feel more confident, I have a more active social life and I'm more confident in business too which has resulted in improved finances.

All of this...and I'm still only a year into my self acceptance journey with a long way to go yet, so just imagine how many positive changes still lie ahead!

Since starting this journey I'm on, I notice that I get a lot of comments from people asking HOW to stop hating the body you have and how to improve self-esteem.

And I get it...it is HARD to do.

We live in a society that tells us in a million subtle little ways every single day that only one body type is valued.

We're continually sent the message that we must look a certain way in order to be considered beautiful, in order to be liked, in order to be respected...and therefore we internalise that message, and before you know it....you have a whole nation full of women who hate themselves because they don't have the "right" body.

Well....news flash guys! There is no "right body". Its a myth. You've been lied to. Sorry!

No body type has any more value than any other. And all those years you've spent missing out on fun things in life because you were worried your body didn't look good enough, all those years you've spent self loathing and trying to force your body to look a certain way - they weren't really necessary.

Because your worth as a person has absolutely nothing to do with your body.

Your body size doesn't make you a good or a bad person. It doesn't even make you an attractive or unattractive person. It doesn't say anything about your health (mind blowing at first, I know!).

It's just a body. It's a vessel that carries all of your awesomeness around and allows you experience the world. That's it.

Do you feel angry about that?

When you think of the years of your one life that you've spent feeling less-than, that you've spent comparing yourself to other people, that you've spent feeling unattractive and unworthy.

Because I sure as hell did when I first realised this myself! But that anger is important. Because what you need to do now is take that anger and CHANNEL IT!

Channel it into learning how to throw your middle fingers up to the world and say "FUCK YOU! I am Good enough as I am! And my worth is NOT defined by anybody elses opinion of me or my body!"

And now?

Focus on how to truly believe that.

Before we go any further, let me just tell you this....it's not going to be easy.

It takes work to unlearn years of societal mindfuckery. It takes TIME to undo all of the conditioning you've endured over the years. And it takes effort and discipline to really focus your attention on being compassionate toward yourself, and learning how to love yourself in a world that REALLY does not want you to do that!

So now that we're clear on that....are you ready to do the work?

Because I promise you...it will be so, so worth it!
