Dressing The Bump

Each and Every Sunday I will be bringing you my new Fashion Post - Dressing The Bump!

This will feature my current favourite maternity outfit and, once Baby Sparkle has arrived, I will be changing the feature to "Dressing The Bump Baby!" - a little person fashion post! Imagine the cuteness! :D

So lets begin with my current favourite daytime outfit! (Apologies for poor picture quality - have learned my lesson and will not use my Ipod camera next time!)

Navy Floral Print Dress by Heavenly Bump - £22.99
Leggings by New Look - £7.99

The dress is a very soft material and so is both warm and extremely comfortable! The sleeves are very loose fitted so there is no nasty cutting-in sensation and the length is quite flattering for those of us who are not fans of our upper arms!

I wear the dress with ankle length navy leggings - I have purchased a few pairs of Maternity leggings but I have found that all of my old leggings from New Look still fit perfectly well over the bump, so I don't think there's necessarily any need to spend any extra on Maternity range leggings unless you find your old ones uncomfortable - even then I would say its worth trying the next size up in the standard ranges, as Maternity ranges do tend to be slightly priced up!

Shoes: £7.99 - New Look

Make Up: MAC Studio Sculpt foundation in NC15
MAC Studio Finish Concealer in NC20
Rimmel Stay Matte pressed powder in Sandstorm
Barry M Supersoft eye crayon in Black
MAC Thru The Night pro longwear eyeshadow applied along lid line
Estee Lauder MagnaScopic mascara in Black
MAC blush in Dame
Bobbi Brown rich colour lipstick in Bikini Pink

Mischa Barton "Williams" shopper bag in Oxblood - £49.99

  1. I love the dress - and your bag! You're looking lovely :)

    1. Thanks! :) I'm excited for the baby ones too, I'm already picking out which outfits will go first lol!

  4. I was thinking of doing 'Outfit of the Week' posts featuring my maternity wear but not sure I'll be dressing very trendily once the little one arrives lmao.

Love this outfit. I need to get some leggings for comfort so will definitely pop to New Look for some cheap but cheerful ones (in the regular section).

    Thanks for sharing :D

    1. Lol! You should do it and then do dressing the baby posts too! Baby fashions are so cute and so few people blog about them! :D

I LIVE in leggings, but then I did before pregnancy too hehe - I hate jeans!

    2. Aww bless, I live in jeans but they're getting really uncomfortable now :( xx

  5. Your the blog...check out mine if you can...
