Dressing The Bump

Each and Every Sunday I will be bringing you my new Fashion Post - Dressing The Bump!

This will feature my current favourite maternity outfit and, once Baby Sparkle has arrived, I will be changing the feature to "Dressing The Bump Baby!" - a little person fashion post! Imagine the cuteness! :D

So lets begin with my current favourite daytime outfit! (Apologies for poor picture quality - have learned my lesson and will not use my Ipod camera next time!)

Navy Floral Print Dress by Heavenly Bump - £22.99
Leggings by New Look - £7.99

The dress is a very soft material and so is both warm and extremely comfortable! The sleeves are very loose fitted so there is no nasty cutting-in sensation and the length is quite flattering for those of us who are not fans of our upper arms!

I wear the dress with ankle length navy leggings - I have purchased a few pairs of Maternity leggings but I have found that all of my old leggings from New Look still fit perfectly well over the bump, so I don't think there's necessarily any need to spend any extra on Maternity range leggings unless you find your old ones uncomfortable - even then I would say its worth trying the next size up in the standard ranges, as Maternity ranges do tend to be slightly priced up!
