This may seem a bit of an odd item to review on my blog, but I have recently discovered a new "Must Have" item in my bathroom....
I'm sure most of you will be familiar with the Andrex Clean Campaign following the recent TV ads featuring Dawn O'Porter - It personally caught my attention purely thanks to the lush sequinned dress she's wearing in them!
Basically, Andrex have launched a new product they call "Washlets" - they are packs of pre-moistened flushable toilet tissue, designed to "Change what you mean by clean!"
The washlets are to be used alongside your usual toilet paper as a kind of extra step in the bathroom routine.
I have to admit I was a bit dubious about trying them - I mean, it feels a bit unnatural at first - they're all wet and cold!
But Andrex have made a very fair point by stating the following:
"You wouldn't do your washing up with a dry cloth would you? Or clean your car with a dry sponge?"
How very true!
So I decided to give them a fair try....
The first thing I noticed when I opened the packet was the scent! They smell absolutely lovely!
Almost lemony but not quite that strong - but just really nice! Seriously, every time I use one I have to sniff it first!
The next thing I noticed was how nifty the little tub was - you thread the first wipe through and close the lid, the tub helps the wipes to retain their moisture really well and all you need to do is push the little button and the lid pops open, handing you the next wipe!
Once you've run out, you just buy a refill pack and re-use the tub - the packs contain 42 wipes which I think makes them really good value for money.
I've been using the washlets for about 4 days now, and I have definitely been converted - I just feel much fresher, and they have lots of extra little uses which come in very handy! They are perfect for popping in your bag and freshening up your hands with when you're out and about, and I can imagine they would come in very handy for mucky little faces too!
Have you tried them yet? I'd love to hear what you think!

I was provided with two packs of Andrex Washlets for the purpose of this review. This write up is all my own words and my honest opinion.
