Acne Treatments*

As I have probably mentioned countless times before, my body since giving birth has changed in many ways that I didn't expect or prepare for.

Yes I expected weight gain and stretchmarks, but I wasn't prepared for the changes to my hair and skin.

It's now been over 7 months since I gave birth and yet still my skin has not returned to normal.

Before Tyne was born, I was one of those lucky people who never had any problems with my skin.

Even in my teenage years, I never had spots or breakouts, I never had dry or oily skin - just normal, clear skin which took make up well and didn't need much (if anything!) in the way of upkeep.

Oh how I long for that again!

These days my skin is a disaster zone!

It always looks dry and blotchy, and I have constant breakouts of very sore and VISIBLE pimples - make
up doesn't seem to sit right on my skin anymore and no amount of products I try seem to make the slightest bit of difference.

So I've been looking into more effective treatments.

I have been browsing the https://www.sknclinics.co.uk/ site the past few days, and looking into some of the treatments they offer.

It may sound quite dramatic but I think their acne laser treatment sounds very interesting - With over 20 years experience, Sk:n are experts in their field and are the UK's leading acne treatment clinic, so I know I'd be in safe hands.

They also offer acne scar treatment for people who may have visible damage left from years of suffering with acne.

I personally haven't decided on how to handle my current skin issues yet, I'm still weighing up my options - if you have suffered with skin problems I'd love to hear how you dealt with them and any  recommendations that you have.

I have found the Sk:n blog helpful with some interesting reads such as the effect smoking can have on your skin, and some great anti-ageing tips!
