It's now been 2 years since I sat down and wrote my first post on Sparkles & Stretchmarks!
The post was this one...I got 99 Problems But An Appetite Ain't 1....
I was having fun, expressing my pregnancy gripes and getting to flex my writing muscle again after not writing anything for a long time...I never really thought anybody would read it but to date its had over 2,000 views.
I never really thought I'd carry on blogging long term as I`ve never been the kind of person to stick at any hobby for long....
I never would have thought that 2 years on I'd still be writing on here....
I also never would have thought that 2 years on I'd be at almost the exact same point along in a pregnancy with a second child!
I'm so glad I kept up with this hobby - it can be very stressful at times and very demanding, but it's given me some amazing opportunities....below are just a few of what have been my favourite and most interesting opportunities this blog has brought to me...

Meeting the Orange Is The New Black cast at the Netflix season 2 premiere...
I have also made some fantastic friendships in the blogging world...and got to meet lots of them at Britmums Live!
And Tyne has had some lovely experiences as a result of it too!
It has also enabled me to be a stay at home mum, which I am forever thankful for.
And so, to celebrate 2 years of my blog and to say thank you to those of you out there who read it...I'm celebrating with a giveaway!
