If we you caught my little announcement yesterday, then you'll know that my little pair of brothers are actually on the countdown to becoming a trio and Noah is soon to be promoted to Big Brother status!
This makes me all the more excited to see how their relationship grows and evolves!
This month Noah & Tyne have been interacting more and more, which has been really lovely to see.
Tyne notices every change in his baby brother and seems so excited by the little developments he's experiencing - a few weeks ago he came running through to me in the kitchen shouting "Noo Noo is trying to crawl! Come and see, come and see!" - I went through and sure enough Noah had rolled onto his front and was trying to belly shuffle across the floor - Tyne thought this was absolutely hilarious, and he threw himself down on the floor next to Noah and tried to encourage him, crawling around and saying "Like this Noah, go on your knees" - of course his advice fell on deaf ears and his next instinct was to try to drag Noah along by his arm, which we swiftly put a stop to - but the sentiment was there and it was cute all the same! ;)
Noah is starting to interact more with Tyne too, he follows him around the room with his gaze, laughs at him when he's being loud and running about, and whenever Tyne comes close to him he grabs his hair or his face and tries to pull him in close! This usually ends up with Tyne exclaiming "He drooled me!" and wiping said drool off in disgust, but again - very cute to watch!
A few weeks ago they had their little "Play" together, while Tyne was cuddling Noah in his Nuna leaf chair - Noah grabbed Tyne's beloved dummy from his mouth and put it in his own, Tyne said "Hey!" and grabbed it back and Noah fell about laughing...which made Tyne laugh too! They kept on doing this over and over again for a good 10 minutes - I tried to grab the camera to video them but of course as soon as I did, they stopped! Typical!
You'll find these two together most days, and most of the time they look something like this....
This does have its draw backs - we still have tears and tantrums from Tyne whenever its time for Noah to go to bed, he gets so upset at saying night night to his brother - but most of the time their bond is just the loveliest thing to watch,

ReplyDeleteThey are so cute. My goodness. Here's to them being life long best friends as well as siblings! Those tops are adorable.
ReplyDeleteAww they look so cute together! I really enjoyed reading this and seeing the pictures of little ones. The type of post I really enjoy...with cute kids/babies. Angela x
ReplyDeleteI love it when siblings get on. So many don't and it's such a shame. And Stacey once tried to teach Oscar how to crawl and it was hilarious! She was doing some odd, slow-mo cartoon crawl and he was looking at her like she was crazy ;)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations again on the baby news. It's so exciting :D
Lou Xxx
Such an adorable post. My sisters and I fought a lot growing up, but they are truly my closest friends now x
ReplyDeleteAw they are so cute together. I wish I could get pictures like that with my 2. Never happens. Either they look away or they are blurry.
ReplyDeleteAw bless - how nice they get one so well and it will be lovely when they become a trio. I always worry about sibling rivalry but it looks as though you don't need to at all. I am sure all three of them will be close as they grow up :) x
ReplyDeleteAwww SO sweet! And how lovely that Tyne notices Noah trying new things! Already trying to crawl, bless him! Lovely photos. xx
ReplyDeleteCongratulations - must be so exciting to know they're going to both be big brothers. Cute photos too.
ReplyDeleteMassive congratulations! Having 3 kids is lovely, I hope they all enjoy their new sibling when they arrive.
ReplyDeleteAw so adorable they have an unspeakable bond and are a testament to your hard work as a parent. You must be so proud x
ReplyDeleteI love boys as they are so affectionate to each other. I have 3 boys and all they do is help, talk and play with each other, even the baby who idolises his older brothers x
