Little Chickie Childrenswear Review & Giveaway

Since Sailor came along, I've been loving baby clothes shopping once again - when you have a third baby boy people assume that you'll be re-using their siblings clothes and while I don't mind passing on a few hand me downs, I have found that with each baby I have had - my taste in clothes for them has changed.

I know that a lot of people think that babies are just babies and there's no such thing as them "suiting" a certain style or colour, but I disagree - I've always loved dressing my boys and choosing their outfits is something I put a fair bit of time into, as it's just something I enjoy. And I have found that I do have preferences for certain colours and styles on each of my children.

With Tyne, I've always loved dressing him in quite a "smart" fashion - I like seeing him in smart clothes, old-man styles like braces on trousers and little hats, and he really seems to suit button down shirts and smart shorts or chinos.

With Noah, my taste in clothes changed and I didn't think he looked right in the style I dress Tyne in - instead I prefered to dress him in more "trendy" things like printed leggings, slogan tops and rompers, and more colour too - infact he seems to really suit colours like yellow and orange, which I never thought looked quite right on Tyne.

And with Sailor - my taste changed once again - with him I prefer what I call "frou frou" clothes! The first outfit I bought for him was a knitted spanish wear set and that's the style I've stuck with - I love to see him in whites and baby blues, knitted items, ribbons and lots of delicate detailing is what I feel suits him best - and, given his name, I also have a bit of a thing for nautical clothes on him too!

Recently, we were given the chance to try out an online store named Little Chickie who specialise in high quality childrens wear at affordable prices and stock a great range of childrens brands.

I decided to stick with clothes for Sailor, and I selected this beautiful baby blue and white short romper suit by Absorba - it's the colours I just love for Sailor, and when it arrived I wasn't disappointed - the quality is fantastic, the material is so soft and comfortable for him, and I think it suits him just perfectly.

Absorba Playsuit (Currently reduced to under £7!!!)

We also tried out the William Anchor Boys Romper Suit by Just Henry - it was the nautical theme that made me think this would be great for Sailor, and it suits him so much - I wouldn't usually choose such dark colours for him as a rule but as a one off I think this looks very sweet, and it certainly seemed comfortable for him.
