You’re going to a music festival and you want
to wear
rave clothes. When it comes to deciding on the best outfits, there
are a few things to take into consideration. We’re here to help you find
something that will both look and make you feel good as you’re tearing it up on
the dance floor or just wandering around.
Dress
According to the Weather and the Venue
If the music festival is going to be outside,
chances are good that it’s going to be very hot. You don’t want to be sweating
too much (although you can always bring hydration packs with you) while you’re
having fun. That’s why it’s a good idea to have several layers, since the
temperatures might drop during the evening.
Also, if the weather forecast has rain in it,
you should think about bringing a raincoat or a poncho. It’s better to be dry
than possibly getting sick from getting soaking wet on a cool night. Should it
turn out that the forecast was wrong, all you have to do is leave your poncho
in the car before you go in.
Dress
For Comfort
This one is a multi-layered piece of advice.
You’re going to be standing on your feet for a good portion of the festival.
That means you’re going to want to have shoes that are comfortable and are also
broken-in.
Yes, there are a lot of rave-styled boots and
shoes. You need to do some research to see if they would be a fit for you
before you commit to wearing them. It’s better to trade off a bit of comfort in
place of comfort, since you want to be able to look back at your time there
with some fondness and not pain in your feet.
What To
Wear
Guys can dress very casually, from anything to
t-shirts to shorts to baseball caps. It’s all good. Just avoid wearing anything
that has any kind of hateful or explicit content on it, since the music
festival is all about having fun and people enjoying the music and just absorbing the
whole vibe.
Girls can wear whatever they feel shows off
their style. This includes bikini tops, skirts, boots. Denim and fringe are
excellent looks, depending on the type of music being played at the festival.
You can also have clothes with wild patterns that can evoke the 1960s
psychedelic era.
What
Not To Wear
One thing both girls and guys both want to do
is protect their feet. That means that you shouldn’t wear flip-flops or any
other type of footwear that exposes their toes to possibly be accidentally
stomped on by another overenthusiastic dancer. You won’t want to be limping
around the festival.
Your goal should be to have the best time
possible at the music festival while dressing in whatever way really captures
your personality. Then you will create a lot of memories, ones that you will be
able to see in pictures and videos later. Your outfit will just be one part of
that whole experience.
