  3. I am the clumsiest person ever and I'm forever cutting myself and burning myself when cooking!!It would be lovely to enjoy a meal that I haven't bled over!!!Me and knives are not friends!!!This may save my life...or at least my fingers!!

  10. I've never had a mandolin that performed well, so I'd love to try this as I've never had an OXO product that DIDN'T perform well, and a good mandolin would be a very useful tool

I'd love to win as I've just started a slimming club, & learning to cook from scratch is a challenge for this bung-in-the-oven ready meal queen! lol I'm loving learning to cook from scratch and anything to make life easier in the kitchen would be great!   40. The Chef's Mandolin would be so useful, as it would make life easier. Food preparation can be difficult with arthritis. So this would be a great gift for my aunt.

  48. I have recently become seriously interested in cooking. I usually cook chicken breast, steak, mince etc with veg & potatoes. I would love to serve up dauphinois potatoes instead and the mandolin would be perfect for that! And everyone should have a salad spinner, but I dont :( x

  57. I've always wanted both of these gadgets. Lettuce takes ages to dry with paper towel, so a spinner would save lots of time. A mandolin would be great for when I make Dauphinoise Potatoes. The thinner the slices, the quicker they will cook

  60. I have an old JML V-slicer which I use a lot but its a bit old and blunt now sp the OXO Mandolin would be the Rolls Royce version. Love the fact that its abusable too.
