I know it's not even Hallowe'en yet but I just can't help myself....I am already beside myself with excitement for Christmas!
Last year was our first Christmas as parents and it was so lovely, but Tyne was only 9 months old...this year he is so much more aware and already recognises Santa and says "Ho Ho Ho!" every time he see's anything Santa related! I just know he is going to be SO excited when the decorations go up and everything starts to feel festive!
So, as I have been totally unable to contain my excitement, I have already been on a bit of a Christmas shopping spree!
I am almost totally finished with shopping for Tyne's gifts - I just have one or two little stocking fillers left to buy - and I have made a good start towards gifts for the rest of my family too! There really isn't that much shopping left to do, and I do like to save some for the end of December as I like to soak up the atmosphere on a festive shopping outing!
I have even almost finished with buying items for Tyne's first ever Christmas Eve Box, which I am really excited about and will be blogging about once Christmas is a little closer.
But for today, I thought I would share with you my recent Christmas Home Decor purchases!
I just LOVE the cheeky slogans on these cute felt hanging hearts, "Dear Santa...Define "Good"" has to be my favourite!
These were from Next for £7.
I just love this chunky wooden "Christmas House Rules" wall hanging - it has a shabby chic finish which I love, and it was the "Build a snowman" rule that sold it for me! And "Believe in Santa" of course...I still do!
This was also from Next for £12
I saw a photo on a Christmas Countdown Facebook Page of a bed all made up in Christmas themed bedding...at first I laughed, but before I knew what was happening I was online trying to find my own set!
I just LOVE the idea of making this a yearly tradition - every Christmas Eve the Christmas bedding will go on our bed, and the children will just love coming into our bed on Christmas morning to tell us Santa has been while we all snuggle under the super festive bedding! How adorable?!
This double duvet and pillowcase case was from Ebay for £16.00
As Tyne is totally obsessed with anything relating to trains, I thought it would be a lovely idea to get a little festive train that goes around the bottom of the tree this year!
This one was from Studio for £19.99
I have always wanted a traditional Christmas light-up village scene, and this year I finally have one!
I saw this on Studio's website reduced from £49.99 to £24.99 so I just had to have it!
This little personalised family are just too cute - you can customise them to have the correct hair colours, and your names are printed onto their hats!
They were also from Studio for £2.99 each
Each Christmas, I make and sell my own wooden signs which I really enjoy doing....and each year I start off by making some for myself!
This year I have been loving the Disney Frozen craze, and so this "Do You Wanna Build A Snowman?" sign was the first thing I made...I loved matching up the colours to look like Elsa's famous dress!
Available from my Facebook store A Little Bit Of Sparkle for £10.00
I have also updated our Personalised Christmas Tree this year, as I fancied a change of colour.
I love the gold and silver!
This is also available from my Facebook store A Little Bit Of Sparkle for £20.00 featuring up to 6 names.
I also updated our "Christmas At The McLean's" sign as our last one got broken when we were storing our Christmas decorations away!
This is also available from A Little Bit Of Sparkle for £10.00 personalised with any name
To get everybody started off in the festive spirit (its never too early!) and celebrate the opening of my Facebook store, we are giving away a personalised Christmas At The....sign as pictured above.
