Ever since I first started shaping my eyebrows, I have been completely incapable of plucking!
I don't know why - I have tried countless times, used so many different kinds of tweezers, tried numbing them first, etc etc - I just cannot get the hang of it!
So for me, waxing has always been the way forward!
I used to go to a salon to have my brows waxed regularly, but obviously its not always possible to get an appointment when you want one and - like with everything - its just so much more convenient to do it yourself at home at a time that suits you!
So a few years ago, I started using home wax strips.
I have found some that are fantastic and some that are utterly useless - and I am always keen to try any new home waxing products on the market in the hopes of finding something fantastic!
So when I was asked to trial Nads Facial Wand I was really excited to give it a go!
It couldn't have arrived at a better time - my eyebrows were in desperate need of a good seeing to!
The pack contains the eyebrow wax wand, cleansing wipes and fabric strips.
You twist the wand until the wax is dispersed, you cleanse the area using the wipe, apply the wax in the direction of the hair growth, put on the fabric strip, pull the skin taught and pull the strip off.
I was worried that the wax might run onto parts of my brow that I didn't want waxed but it was actually very precise and I didn't have that issue at all.
It was very simple to use and I was done in 3 minutes!
I don't think this is a miracle product and as my eyebrows were in dire need of a good waxing beforehand - I don't think it did the job perfectly. But I do think it would be great for a touch up if my brows were in a better state to start with.
I give the Nads FacialWand 4 out 5!
Nads Facial Wand Eyebrow Shaper is priced at £8.99 and is available from Boots, Superdrug & Tesco.
