I was recently tagged by the very lovely Rachel over at www.beautyqueenuk.co.uk to do this fun Beauty related tag – I am notoriously bad at remembering to do these tag posts but here I am making the effort!! *pats self on the back*
The Question: If you could only have one ______ what would it be?
And, in a few words, why?
Primer – Eeek bad start – I am rather useless when it comes to primer, I never use it :/ I did try a W7 one briefly but it didn’t seem to be doing anything so I just stopped….can anybody recommend a good one?!
Base Product – I am going to assume that this means foundation, in which case I will always be true to Mac’s Studio Fix Fluid foundation – I cannot live without it, I have tried many others and nothing comes close to it.
Concealer – MAC Studio Finish. Again I have tried many many others over the years and none of them work as well as this does for me.
Powder – I often just use a cheap powder such as Rimmel’s Stay Matte as it does the job well enough and doesn’t cost the earth, but lately I have been loving MAC Studio Fix Powder – yes its supposed to be a foundation on its own but I quite like it over my regular foundation for heavier coverage.
Blush (cream or powder) – MAC (Are we noticing a theme yet?!) Powder Blush in Dame. I am not loyal to one specific shade (not since they stopped my ultimate favourite Sweet William), but I have never been as impressed with any other brand of Blusher so I do stick to this range.
Bronzer – I don’t really like using Bronzers much as I’m extremely pale and they just make me look like I’ve been tangoed.
Highlighter – Again this is something I don’t use. I do want to try it though and learn how to use it well.
Make-Up Brush (single) – Eeeek – I don’t use them, I’m a fingers girl :/ I MUST try harder!!!!!
Eyebrow Product – I use my HD Brows palette, and I love it!
Eye shadow (single) – I use a Lipsy Daytime Doll palette and just stick to the neutral shades.
Eyeliner – I wear GOSH Cosmetics eyeliner on my lower lids every day, and if I want a more dramatic look I add Barry M Wink eyeliner on my upper lids.
Mascara – They’re Real by Benefit is my all time favourite, but I also have a lot of love for Estee Lauder Magnascopic.

Lipstick, Lip Gloss or Lip Stain – I love MAC cremesheens but its too hard to choose a favourite colour. I also love Dallas lipgloss by Benefit.
Lip Liner – I do not like lip liners at all I’m afraid.
Lip Balm – Chapstick Shimmer Sticks – nice and simple!
Nail Polish – Very hard to narrow it down to just one! If I had to choose right now, I’d go with Nails Inc Breton Street or GOSH Tropicana
