I find the Royal Family absolutely fascinating and have always been a fan – history being my favourite subject at school – but the new generation of Royals including William, Kate and Harry have really sealed the deal for me – I can’t get enough of them!
The Queen has ruled over this country now for an absolutely astonishing 63 years making her the longest reigning Monarch in history….
Can you imagine being in ANY job for 63 years?! Let alone a role with as much responsibility as QUEEN of a nation.
I find her absolutely fascinating – just think about some of the changes the world has seen since The Queen has been on the throne- Beatlemania, Man landing on the moon, England’s last world cup win, the 9/11 attacks, the invention of the internet – it shows how long a time 63 years actually is – her life has been truly dedicated to serving her country.
Celebrations of the Queens life and reign make me feel proud to be British, and with Euro Fever sweeping the country right now many people feel the urge to show their patriotism in a variety of ways…but I think I’ve found the most novel way of doing that yet!
