If there’s one thing I have appreciated SO much more since my 3 children came along, it’s “me time!”
It’s an incredibly rare thing, but when I do get it – I like the really make the most out of it! I’m talking bubble baths, prosecco, family sized bars of Dairy Milk to myself – the works!
When I was asked to work with Sanctuary Spa on a review of some of their products, I knew straight away it called for a Mini Home Spa evening! I got the kids off to bed early (I may have warned them that I’d spotted Santa doing a random fly over to check if children were still being good…) , poured myself a glass of bubbles and had a root through the amazing hamper of goodies I was sent!
Sanctuary Spa is a brand I have always loved, and their hamper didn’t let me down!
Since that evening I have managed to try out almost all of the products and I have discovered some firm favourites amongst them that I’m going to share with you today!
First up is the Charcoal Bubble Sheet Mask – I’ve been reading a lot about the benefits of Charcoal in skin care products lately and it’s something I’ve been keen to try, so I was delighted when I saw this in the package! I absolutely LOVE a good face mask so this was right up my street.
Sheet masks are my favourite as there is minimal mess and fuss involved, you simply put the mask on a clean face and lay back – you could feel it start to foam up all on its own pretty much straight away! My skin felt squeaky clean and so refreshed after wards, I will absolutely be buying this again!
Another favourite was actually another charcoal product – this time the Warming Detox Charcoal Wash . This deep cleanse daily face wash open pores and draws out impurities from the skin, I just love the way it lathered up – it felt amazing on my skin! I love the fact that it also helps to reduce shine and remove excess oil from the skin too.
Next up is the gorgeous Air Whipped Creme Souffle – this gorgeous fluffy body creme is blended with mango oil, jojoba oil and red seaweed melts – it smells absolutely divine and leaves skin feeling silky and smooth. The 475 ml pot is rather generous too, as a little of this goes a long way.
